Particularly important was his collaboration with the street artist Blu, with whom he has worked since the beginning of his career on numerous murals, almost always of enormous dimensions.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="Default"><span lang="EN-US">Ericailcane’s works are characterised by the scientific precision with which the artist depicts disturbing animals with human features and movements, placing them in alienating contexts that are sometimes charged with social or ecological significance. The same iconography recurs in his refined drawings, artist’s books, videos and installations, including works produced on public commission: from the traditional Vecchione set up in 2009 by the City of Bologna to the façade decoration of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Bogotá, Colombia, in 2013.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="Default"><span lang="EN-US">Over the years, his fame has grown and, overcoming his lack of interest in the art market, he began to work occasionally with galleries such as Biagiotti Progetto Arte in Florence, D406 in Modena, Squadro in Bologna, and the renowned Pictures on the Walls, a branch of the London gallery Lazarides.
