An account of the resource
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Andrea Kvas was born in Trieste in 1986 and currently lives and works in Italy. His solo exhibitions include <em>Staring Contest </em>at Ermes-Ermes in Vienna in 2015, a two-person exhibition with Nicola Martini at Kaufmann Repetto in Milan in 2015, and Campo at the Museo Marino Marini in Florence in 2013. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions at venues in Italy and abroad, including Bugada & Cargnel in Paris, Francesca Minini in Milan, Chert in Berlin, CAR DRDE in Bologna, and ZERO… in Milan. He has exhibited at institutional venues such as Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea in Monfalcone, and MACRO in Rome, as well as independent spaces including Brown Project Space and Peep-Hole in Milan and Cripta 747 in Turin.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Andrea Kvas donated to MoRE a number of unrealised works reconstructed from the artist’s notebook. The design material contained in these pages is highly varied and includes sketches of forms, the conception and development of a new alphabetic code, and several self-supporting pictorial structures. Although the projects are heterogeneous, the central issue emerging from this material would seem to be the alphabetic code developed by the artist in response to a question concerning abstract art.<br /><a href="http://moremuseum.org/omeka/files/original/076fb26ce9c7a832179c5e7c952e1ac5.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Read more</a>.</p>
