Andrea Kvas donated to MoRE a number of unrealised works reconstructed from the artist’s notebook. The design material contained in these pages is highly varied and includes sketches of forms, the conception and development of a new alphabetic code, and several self-supporting pictorial structures. Although the projects are heterogeneous, the central issue emerging from this material would seem to be the alphabetic code developed by the artist in response to a question concerning abstract art.
